Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 finely chopped Onion
- 1 clove minced Garlic
- 3 stalks diced Celery
- 1 diced Bell Pepper
- 1 28-oz can drained Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 15-oz can drained Mixed Vegetables
- 2 quarts Beef Broth
- 1/4 cup Moore’s Original Marinade
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 oz of either:
- • Cavatappi Pasta
- • Fusilli Pasta
Sauce:
Preparation:
- Begin to brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat
- When partially browned, add onions, celery, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft and meat is brown
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds (be careful not to burn or overcook)
- Drain
- Pour meat mixture into crockpot
- Mix all other ingredients (not pasta) in the crockpot
- Cook on low for 8 hours
- Optional: During the last 15 minutes of cooking add the pasta to the crockpot, stir to combine, and cook for remaining 15 minutes.
